Cord Blood Registry (CBR) is the largest newborn stem cell company in the world. Cord blood stem cells have been used in over 30,000 transplants, for the treatment of more than 80 diseases, and are being researched as cures for conditions that today have none. Still, over 95% of expectant parents are unaware about the option to save or donate their newborn’s cord blood. By partnering with Teak, CBR sought to increase awareness among soon-to-be parents, educate them, and encourage them to enroll with CBR and bank their newborn’s stem cells.
We made it easy for expectant parents on-the-go to get their questions about cord blood banking answered anytime, anywhere by helping CBR launch a mobile version of their website. We even enabled mobile enrollment (and simplified the desktop experience), which increased overall enrollments by 19% from the previous year.
Cord Blood Registry
Aside from redefining CBR’s web and mobile experience, we helped them with their overall brand across social and digital channels. Because most people are more likely to bank their stem cells if they know someone else who has, we recruited 21 families who use CBR to share their stories with us, and used the photography and video we captured across all platforms.
